Hillary Clinton Steals Spotlight in Wedding with Her Moroccan Caftan

Hillary Clinton has once again made the headlines of US media, but this time not for her politics. The 2016 presidential candidate swapped her signature pantsuit look for a breezy blue caftan at the wedding of a friend’s daughter.
Clinton attended the nuptials of campaign supporter Marc Lasry’s daughter Sophie on Sunday, August 6, wearing a floor-length Tiffany-blue caftan. Simple yet sophisticated with minimal embellishment, Clinton paired her summery look with a pair of stud earring and pointed-toe silver heels.
The former US president Bill Clinton also dressed up for the occasion, opting for a dark navy suit which is pretty standard for the former leader.
Numerous fashionable public figures and stars attended the wedding, such as Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, yet Clinton managed to steal the lights. While the comments on social media were mixed about Mrs. Clinton’s free-flowing dress, many agreed that she looked comfortable, “summery and chic.”
Clinton is not the first American public figure to opte for the fashionable Moroccan garment. Stars like Oprah Winfrey, Elizabeth Taylor, Kim Kardashian, or even Beyonce chose to wrap themselves in the silky robes of the Moroccan caftan.
