Iraqi Musician Narcy: Exploring Arab Identity Through Music

Yassin Alsalman, also known as Narcy, is an Iraqi musician trying to create a space for voices of the Arab community. Over the years, he has become an unofficial spokesperson for the new generation of Arabs living abroad. He’s worked with prominent artists in the region, including Yasmine Hamdan and Mashrou’ Leila. He tells us more about the message he wants to convey in his music.
