Italian Plastic Surgery Team Arrives in Nablus
On November 6, a six-member team of doctors and nurses from Bergamo, Italy returned to Palestine to start a week volunteering to treat burned and deformed children at Rafidiah Hospital in the West Bank town of Nablus. Led by surgeon Dr. Enrico Robotti, the team included surgeons Dr. Denis Codazzior and Dr. Omar Jaber, anesthesiologist Dr. Alberto Penigni and nurses Isabella Pesenti and Elisabitta Piazzalunga. The team have been volunteering with the PCRF for over a decade and have provided hundreds of children expert reconstructive surgery. We appreciate their hard work and coming to provide humanitarian care for our children during these difficult days.
