The Arabic language honestly puts an amazing twist to everything that has ever been created, including music. Certain Arab artists have skillfully covered songs, both classical and pop, in Arabic.

These are 6 of the most beautifullly put together covers:

1. Mashrou’ Leila cover “Get Lucky” by Pharrell Williams

“Get Lucky” is a song originally by French house music duo Daft Punk, featuring Pharrell Williams and co-written by the duo, Williams and Nile Rodger.

2. Fairouz covers “Autumn Leaves” by Yves Montande

Autumn Leaves is originally a French song, “Les feuilles mortes” sung by Italian-French singer Yves Montande. However, Frank Sinatra also covered the song in English.

3. Ramy Ayash covers “Quizás, quizás, quizás” by Osvaldo Farrés

“Quizás, quizás, quizás” is a song by Cuban songwriter, Osvaldo Farrés who wrote the music and original Spanish lyrics for the song, which later became a hit for Bobby Capó in 1947.

“Somethin’ Stupid” is a song written by C. Carson Parks, which was originally recorded by Parks and his wife. The song, however, is best known for the 1967 version by Frank Sinatra.

“Funiculì, Funiculà” is a famous Neapolitan song composed in 1880 by Luigi Denza. The song was written to commemorate the opening of the first funicular cable car on Mount Vesuvius. Over the years, many artists including Andrea Bocelli have covered the song.
