Strongest Footy Teams Across The Globe

What makes a strong football club? Is it the players, the coach, the fans, or the number of wins?

Apart from raw skill and talent, there has to be team spirit, togetherness, and the collective will to achieve victory in all football matches. We’ve seen the strongest footy teams across the globe emerge from Eastern and Southern Europe, America, and even Asia.

These teams have won the hearts of the crowd, won leagues and trophies and dominated the charts for at least two years in a row. There’s also the financial strength of each team to consider, because most times, the most powerful teams are the ones with more purchasing power and less net debts. With stiff competition to beat, these are the five strongest football teams in the world.

Spain

All sports betting fans know that Spain emerged as one of the toughest teams to look out for when they won the European Championships in 2008 and 2012 respectively. Plus, between 2007 and 2009, they successfully played 35 games unbeaten. By 2010, they won the FIFA World Cup and became the envy of many teams.

They have star players like Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Fernando Torres, David De Gea, Sergio Ramos, David Silva, and more. Most of their players are equally in notable football clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United.

Brazil

Brazil is one of the most celebrated football teams when it comes to Football. They have produced notable football legends like Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Gerson, Zico, and of course, the one and only Pele. Brazil is still known for an incredible FIFA World Cup performance, and maybe even one of the most remarkable, in 1970.

They scored 16 goals in just six games and became the team to beat even by famous teams like Italy and France. In the finals, the final score was 4-1, with Italy taking a serious thrashing by Brazil. But that’s not all, Carlos Alberto went down in history that day, as he scored one of the best goals of all time.

Manchester City

Manchester City is not only one of the wealthiest teams, but it’s also one to reckon with. This team has risen from obscurity, because, from the first two decades of Premier League history, they were nowhere near Manchester United. However, recent rankings have them at the top, while the once formidable Manchester United is a little bit lower on the list.

Their exceptional performance from 2018-2019 has made them the team to beat and one of the strongest in the world. Plus, it also helps to have the Sheikh Mansour as the owner of Man City, the team boasts of exceptional infrastructure and financial power to buy the players they want. With big names like Sallah, De Bruyne, and Raheem Sterling, Man City is undoubtedly a power team.

Bayern Munich

Apart from being the most successful club in Germany, Bayern has an enormous fan base as well. And we can say that it’s well deserved. Just look at how the Bundesliga is going already! It’s hands down one of the scariest teams to play against, in the world!

Plus, it’s another team that shocked the world, because half a century ago, they weren’t even invited to play in the Bundesliga, but now they’re dominating it. They have 27 League titles, 18 DFB Cups, and Five UEFA Champion League Crowns, plus other domestic and continental wins to their name as well.

France

We trust France to bring flair and thrill when playing outstanding and accolade-worthy Football. We’ve seen them beat top teams like Brazil, plus, they are the defending FIFA World Cup Champions. But winning isn’t new to France at all, they won the World Cup in 1998, won the European Championships in 2000, and have other laudable wins by exceptionally talented players. The likes of David Trezeguet, Thierry Henry, Zidane, Thuram, and Deschamps will always be celebrated for their golden goals and world-class success.
