Trade Delegation to Lebanon - 4th Annual Trade Fair for U.S. Products and Services
The National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC), in cooperation with the American Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Lebanon), is organizing a trade delegation to Lebanon to participate in the 4th Annual Trade Fair for U.S. Products and Services. Made in America 2008 is hosted by the U.S. Embassy’s Commercial Service, a Division of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and will be held in Beirut, Lebanon from October 9-11, 2008.
Made in America 2008 promotes U.S. products and services in Lebanon, highlights the latest American technology, and assists U.S. companies in taking advantage of the expanding commercial relations between Lebanon and the United States.
The last Made in America trade fair in November 2005 was a great success. Over 300 U.S. companies from a wide variety of sectors participated, and over 18,000 visitors attended the fair. Made in America 2008 is open to all companies featuring American products and services.
Delegation members will meet with high-level government officials, business leaders, and sector-specific firms looking to do business with U.S. companies. Delegates are encouraged to exhibit at Made in America 2008 — individually (in a 3×3 m2 booth), collectively (in NUSACC’s booth), or using catalogues only. Delegation members are also invited to attend a series of conferences on October 10 that focus on inter-regional trade and trade between the U.S. and the Middle East/North Africa region.
The fee for participation in this mission is US $1,200 and is non-refundable. The participation fee does not include travel, meals, or lodging expenses. NUSACC will help delegation members with logistical arrangements including but not limited to flights, hotels, transportation, exhibition space, matchmaking, and the like.
Space is limited and priority will be given to companies on a first-come, first-serve basis.
