Youth Leadership Committee of Lebanese American Heritage Club Host Solidarity Day with Somalia
The Youth Leadership Committee of the Lebanese American Heritage Club, with the help and support of recognized Arab American Organizations and student clubs, will be holding a “Solidarity Day with SOMALIA”.
Member of the YLC-LAHC will attend Mosques and Churches as Follow:
*Friday, August 26th, 2011 – – 1:00pm-3:00pm at Dearborn and Detroit city Mosques. Sites to be Announced Later.
*Sunday, August 28th, 2011 – – 1:00pm-3:00pm at Dearborn, Detroit, and Warren city Churches. Sites to be announced later.
The Youth Leadership Committee at the LAHC members will be present to accept generous donations from kind donors. Donations are to be monetary ONLY. The group will be accepting cash or check donations (100% Tax Deductible, made payable to the “Lebanese American Heritage Club”).
Whether $1 or $10 or $100, anything helps to aid those suffering in Somalia.
Based on UN statistics, 29000 children under 5 are dying, and each 6 minutes a human being loses his/her life in Somalia. ACT NOW, ACT QUICKLY, and Give as you have been given.
