Year after year, actresses from film and television choose Arab designers to wear on the Red Carpet for awards shows. At the 2017 Golden Globes, at least 13 celebrities arrived in gowns designed by Arab designers, most of whom are from Lebanon.

This year, big name actresses accepted their awards wearing dresses made by Arab designers, helping to expose the Arab world’s rising fashion industry. Zuhair Murad dressed the most actresses out of all the Arab designers, but other famous designers, such as Reem Acra, Elie Saab, and Georges Chakra, made stated appearances on the Red Carpet, as well.
