American Arab Chamber of Commerce Elects Ahmed Chebbani, New Chairman of the Board
On April 16, the Board of Directors of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce held elections. President and CEO of Omnex Accounting Ahmed Chebbani was elected as the Chairman of the Board. He replaces outgoing Chairman James Allen. “The Chamber and the larger community will continue to work on many more entrepreneurial endeavors involving Jim’s expertise”, says Chebbani.
Chebbani is a founding member of the AACC and past Chairman who envisions a bright future for the Chamber. “The Chamber is a global business partner that has the resources, energy and expertise to promote business growth and cultural understanding on the world stage.”
Executive Director Fay Beydoun adds, “The Arab-American entrepreneurial spirit is a thriving force in Michigan’s economy. I am looking forward to working with Mr. Chebbani, our newly elected executive committee and the larger business sector in bridging our economic presence both domestically and internationally.”
