Oscar winning actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie traveled to the Middle East on Thursday to lend her presence to Iraqi refugees. It is her first visit to the war-torn country.
The Tomb Raider star’s tour of the Middle East continues Friday in Amman, Jordan, where she is slated to be honored at a function by the children’s organization, Arab Children’s Congress.
The actress — world renowned for her philanthropy and humanitarian work — reportedly brought her adopted 7-year-old son, Maddox, with her for the festivities.
