Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has claimed that Palestinians have no choice but to riot against Israel – and agreed with a radio host that the country is ‘criminal’.

The 29-year-old, who serves as the US Representative for New York’s 14th congressional district, made the comments during an appearance on hip-hop program ‘Ebro in the Morning’ with Ebro Darden.

Her appearance begins with Darden, 44, saying on his WQHT radio show that ‘corrupt’ governments in Israel, the United States, Russia and Saudi Arabia are ‘all working in concert.’

Adding that he wants to bring up Israel because AOC has been vocal about Palestineand the occupation and what needs to go on there – before AOC agrees that even in Israel people are ‘trying to get rid of’ its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

‘How do you have white supremacist Jews?,’ Darden says.

‘How do you have people like Stephen Miller? How do you have these individuals who are legit aligning with racism and white supremacy, but they’re Jewish? And it’s something that most people can’t wrap their brains around. But it’s a real thing.’

He adds: ‘And what’s going on with Israel and Palestine, while it’s very, very, deep, it is very, very, criminal, and it is very, very unjust.’

To which AOC responds ‘absolutely’, before saying: ‘I think, too, where we’re at as a country when it comes to Israel-Palestine is very much a generational issue.’

She tells Darden that when looking at the issue through the lens he has suggested, a lot of things ‘start to make sense’.

‘The Netanyahu administration very similar to the Trump administration,’ she says.

‘The right wants to advance this notion that if you engage in critique of Israeli policy that your are anti-Semitic. But it’s the furthest thing from the truth.’

AOC agrees in the interview that even in Israel people are ‘trying to get rid of’ its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (pictured)

AOC also compares the Netanyahu administration to the Trump administration in the radio interview, saying that her criticism of Trump isn’t necessarily anti-American

She says in that in the same way her criticising Trump doesn’t make her anti-American.

She adds: ‘Criticising the occupation doesn’t make you anti-Israel. It doesn’t make you against the existence of a nation. It means that you believe in human rights. It’s about making sure Palestinian human rights are equal to Israeli human rights.’

AOC said that when you criticise another country the reaction is not the same, but adds she understands a ‘very deep’ history with Israel.

‘Jewish people have been persecuted throughout all of human history, but I don’t think that by marginalizing Palestinians, you create safety,’ she adds.

‘I believe that injustice is a threat to the safety of all people, because once you have a group that is marginalized and marginalized and marginalized — once someone doesn’t have access to clean water, they have no choice but to riot, right? And it doesn’t have to be that way.’

Her comments come after she and other Democratic freshman congresswomen were accused of anti-Semitism for their criticism of Israel.

Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Ayanna Pressley blasted the president earlier this month for what they called a ‘racist’ tweet, in which he said they complain too much and should ‘go back where they came from’

AOC, along with Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib have been dubbed ‘the squad’. They have been openly critical of Trump’s foreign policy, tax reductions, environmental policy and other administration priorities.

They blasted the president for what they called a ‘racist’ tweet, in which he said they complain too much and should ‘go back where they came from’.

Trump has doubled down on his tweets – made earlier this month – in another set of posts that blasted Democrats for ‘sticking up for people who speak so badly’ of the US.

‘So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion.’

All four women were elected to the House for the first time in the 2018 midterms and make up a small group of minority progressive freshmen in the caucus.

They also caused a stir by voting against a bill to provide $4.5 billion in emergency border funding.

AOC was yesterday again critcised for ‘spreading anti-Semitism, hatred, and stupidity’ after she said migrant detention centers were ‘concentration camps.’

Ed Mosberg, 93, of Morris Plains, New Jersey, blasted the Democratic congresswoman representing Queens and the Bronx on Saturday.

‘The people on the border aren’t forced to be there – they go there on their own will,’ he told the New York Post

‘If someone doesn’t know the difference, either they’re playing stupid or they just don’t care.’
