ADC Michigan extends its heartfelt congratulations to Judge David Allen, who was recommended as a nominee to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Judge Allen has served on the Wayne County Circuit Court since 2003.

ADC Michigan also congratulates Barbara McQuade, who was recommended to serve as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan. Barbara currently serves as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan.

“We are pleased that the committees we established have recommended these outstanding candidates,” Levin said. “The committees had extremely difficult choices because of the very large number of highly qualified people who expressed an interest in serving. We want to express our gratitude to the members of the committees for their service, as well as to all of the candidates for their dedication to public service.”

“The final decision regarding the nominations of these candidates for Senate consideration lies with President Obama,” Stabenow said. “We look forward to working with him to fill these important positions as soon as possible.”
