posted on: Jul 1, 2009

Arab Detroit (www.arabdetroit.com) announced today the addition of Twitter, a text based social network, Facebook, a free social networking website, and an iPhone compatibility specially designed for Arab Detroit Radio.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read each others’ updates, known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters, displayed on the author’s profile page and delivered to other users – known as followers – who have subscribed to them. Subscribers can now follow Arab Detroit events and news by registering with Twitter.

Facebook is a free-access social networking website where people can join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region to connect and interact with other users. People can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves. Subscribers can now access Arab Detroit activities by registering with Facebook.

The new iPhone compatibility for Arab Detroit Radio will enable the listener to access radio via their i-Phone. Now listeners can hear Arab Detroit Radio in their automobiles via an i-Phone external cable connected directly to their car radios.

Twitter, Facebook, and the new i-Phone compatibility can be accessed from the Arab Detroit home page, www.arabdetroit.com.

Arab Detroit.com was established in May 2007 and is one of the leading websites providing digital media including events, news, music and culture to the Arab American Community.
