AUB Alumni Michigan Chapter Hosts President Dr. Peter Dorman
On Aug 7th 2009, the AUB Alumni Michigan Chapter hosted from Lebanon Dr. Peter Dorman, the great great grandson of Dr. Bliss and AUB’s 15th President.
The evening started with a presidential address where Dr. Dorman shared his vision for critical thinking, open debate, and diversity.
While everyone enjoyed delicious food and anecdotal stories, AUB engraved giveaways were distributed by the Chapter President Ms. Abir Assi.
‘Misk Al Khitam’ was a unique live singing performance by Husam Abdallah who focuses on weddings and private parties. The crowd enjoyed Mr. Adballah’s affectionate voice and on stage presence and danced to the tunes of Tarab, Dabkeh, and Lebanese Pop songs.
