As students all over the nation gear up to return to school this month, ADC would like to direct your attention to the educational resources and materials about Arab Americans available on our website.
Please visit our website today to view specific materials for teachers, students, and parents as well as general reference information on a variety of topics. In today’s society, it is important that correct information about our community and its history and issues is available and incorporated into education plans.
In the words of the legendary Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
We encourage teachers to utilize these materials in their upcoming lesson plans for the 2013-2014 school year. Parents and students are also encouraged to usethese resources. ADC would like to hear about your use of these materials and other materials you feel would be helpful to the community.
