Al-Awda FL’s International Women’s Day Event is a night of commemorating Palestinian women in Palestine’s past and present. Join Al-Awda as we discuss the impact of Palestinian women in their rich history, as well as the struggles faced by them. We will also be joined with special commentary (via zoom) from our amazing guest speakers, Linda Sarsour and Laura Albast.

Shatha Hanaysha is a Palestinian journalist based out of Jenin, Palestine. Shatha was working alongside Shireen Abu Akleh the day she was murdered, and has since worked tirelessly to show people the truth using her journalism skills.
