We invite you to the annual fundraiser of Beirut and Beyond, benefiting Palestinian initiatives in refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan.
Experience Palestinian food, an online auction with Middle Eastern treats, belly dancing, and learn about the impactful work of Palestinians in refugee camps. And, above all, discover how YOU can support them!
We will start the night with Middle Eastern appetizers before a traditional Palestinian dinner of Maqoolbah. Lebanese wine and beer will be flowing! Phoencian Kabob is providing all of the food and wine! Mayssa will be performing and we have live bidding during our silent auction.
Beirut and Beyond aims to raise $70,000 for emergency services, a recycling center, and cooking classes in Palestinian refugee camps in Beirut, Lebanon. In Jordan, we partner with the only library in the Gaza camp and provide employment for a young Palestinian woman as a librarian.
Take a look at the items available for the online silent auction from the Middle East on GIVE BUTTER. (Coming SOON!)
Join us to celebrate and SUPPORT the work of Palestinian refugees!
These are the organizations we support and will receive the funds raised by this event.
Palestinian Civil Defense (PCD) is an emergency services network that provides emergency services for Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. This is the first time in 77 years that Palestinian refugee camps have had access to firefighters and paramedics.
Ahlam Lajea Association (ALA) is a non-governmental organization established by five young Palestinian graduates from Shatila camp in Lebanon. One of the projects ALA facilitates is a recycling center in Shatila Camp in Beirut.
Simsim Kitchen facilitates cooking classes in Lebanon hosted by women from Palestinian refugee camps as a fee-for-service experience where participants experience local food and culture while providing supplemental income to women who are supporting their families.
Hopes Library is the only library in Gaza Palestinian refugee camp in Jerash, Jordan. A librarian from the camp is continuously employed and professionally trained. The library is a a source of information and a gathering place to share ideas. Over 10% of Gaza Camp refugees accessed library services in 2024.
