Join the PYM and Rise Up for Sudan for an iftar fundraiser and community discussion at Hawa Center in Fairfax, VA!

This Ramadan, please join the Palestinian Youth Movement and Rise Up For Sudan on Friday March 6th as we break fast, engage in community discussion, and reflect together on how we can strengthen our efforts here in the diaspora for collective liberation. The event will begin at 5:30 pm and be held at Hawa Center Hawa Center – 4401 Fair Lakes Ct, Fairfax, VA 22033. The program will feature speakers, prayer, letter writing, henna, and other community activities! Childcare will be provided.

From Sudan to Palestine, we honor our people’s struggle against oppression and imperialism, dedicating ourselves to taking organized action against the ethnic cleansing and genocidal campaigns that threaten our homelands.

All are invited to attend. If cost is a barrier for you, please contact us via pymdmv@gmail.com to request a donated ticket. All proceeds will benefit local organizing efforts, the Middle East Children’s Alliance which has been a crucial organization that is providing aid directly on the ground in Gaza, and ongoing relief and aid efforts in Sudan.
