Come join us for this special class in Lebanese cooking! This dish is taught by our guest instructor Lauren Bruce!
Lauren’s Intro:
I love teaching people how to make Kibbee – a traditional Lebanese dish made with minced beef and/or lamb, bulgur, warm spices, and pine nuts.
You can find Kibbee here and there around town, but my family’s version has a magic of its own. Over the years, I’ve lost count of how many people have told me it’s the best they’ve ever had outside their own homes – better than any restaurant around.
As the only girl born into my family, I was learning the art of Lebanese cooking before I could even walk or talk. This recipe has been passed down for generations, and every time I make it, I feel connected to the women who came before me. Teaching it feels like carrying that tradition forward – bringing people together through food, stories, and a whole lot of love. Because that’s the Lebanese way.
