Les Dames d'Escoffier
Ya Hala chef Mirna Attar has agreed to put together a special Lebanese dinner for LDEI in Ya Hala’s new dining room. She will come out to meet us and talk about her food, her culture, and how her father, Nicolas Dibe, started Nicholas’ Restaurant, the 1st Lebanese restaurant in Portland.
Mirna will be making her traditional mezze dishes–grape leaves, the world’s best hummus, babaganouj, puffy bread, plus a bounty of her creative takes on Lebanese mains and vegetable dishes. She’s so talented and we are really excited to introduce her to the Dames!
