Big laughs, Sudanese chaos, and a stacked lineup of comics, all for a cause bigger than the stage.

Join us for a night of stand-up comedy featuring a powerhouse lineup of Sudanese comics and featured comedians from across the U.S. and Canada, coming together in Chicago for a special benefit show supporting Sudan relief efforts.

The lineup features Huta, founder and host of the consistently sold-out Al-Bait Baitkom showcase in NYC, and winner of Iowa’s Funniest Comedian in 2022, whose energetic storytelling and sharp immigrant humor have earned him spots alongside Dave Attell, Russell Peters, and Chris Redd.

Joining him is Chicago-based Sudanese comedian Samir Abdul, known for blending personal storytelling, political insight, and cultural contradictions into fearless comedy, with performances at The Second City, Laugh Factory, Zanies, and Don’t Tell Comedy.

Canadian stand-up comic Faris Hytia brings his laid-back delivery and unforgettable crowd work style after appearances at major comedy festivals across Canada, CBC’s The Debaters, and collaborations with comedians including Hasan Minhaj, Mo Amer, and Neal Brennan.

Also featured is Zaid Fouzi, a Syrian American comedian based in Chicago. He’s toured all over the U.S., Canada, and Palestine. He’s performed with top comedians such as Sammy Obeid, Bassem Youseff, and Marcelo Hernandez. Zaid’s work has been featured on NPR and MBC Al Arabiya.

Proceeds from the evening will support the Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA), helping provide dental screenings, pain relief, essential treatments, and oral hygiene supplies for Sudanese children living in refugee camps.
