The Sameer Project

All donations will be sent to the Sameer Project, a donation based initiative founded by 3 Palestinians, who are currently on the ground in Gaza.

The Sameer Project fills a variety of needs, some of which are listed below:

• The Refaat Alareer Camp – a tent encapment in central Gaza that provides shelter and specialized support to displaced families who are particularly vulnerable (those with war injuries or chronic diseases, adults with special needs and mobility issues, children with physical or mental disabilities, high risk perinatal and neonatal females, or families with extreme trauma or are in phychological distress)

• South Gaza – (Tents, Cash Aid, Food, Medical). Most of the population now residing in southern and central Gaza are sheltering in tents. However, the quality of these tents varies and the high-quality, portable and reusable tents (Emirati & Qatari), that were originally intended to be given out for free, end up on the secondary market sold for $700 – $1,000 a tent. This is due to war profiteering and people capitalizing on the desperation of people in Gaza. We also support critical medical cases with treatment, medication, and clinic referrals to those who would otherwise not be able to afford medical intervention. With famine on the rise, most donations contributed to this particular project will be allocated for food.

• North Gaza – This particular fund is allocated to those on the North Gaza strip, which is particularly void of humanitarian aid. These donations will be spent based on changing need, including, diapers, clean water, food, shelter, blankets, medical supplies, etc.
