Fun, Friendly Halloween Party for Kids and Families Returns to Arab American Museum

posted on: Oct 10, 2011

Ghouls and boys of all ages, along with their mummies, daddies, family and fiends, are invited to one of the most fun and friendly Halloween parties in town.

Following its warm reception by area families in 2010, the Haunted Halloween Family Party – a merry, not scary celebration – returns to the Arab American National Museum from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Children will trick-or-treat in the museum galleries and enjoy autumn-themed crafts, games and stories. They can also take grab the mic to show off their talents in Kid Karaoke and enjoy a pizza feast including beverage and themed dessert. Bring the cameras – the photo/video opportunities are endless!

Children’s tickets for Haunted Halloween are just $8 at the door or $7 in advance online at www.arabamericanmuseum.org. Group rates are available by calling 313.624.0215.

Tickets include children’s admission, all activities and lunch. Admission for parents is free, and adult lunches are available for $2. All are welcome to purchase $1 tickets during the party for a chance to win cool prizes including AMC Fairlane movie tickets, Laser Tag family package and a 19” Philips LCD flat-screen TV.

Party-goers are encouraged but not required to wear a Halloween costume. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at this event.

The Haunted Halloween Family Party is made possible in part by Meijer, Walmart, AMC Star Fairlane Theatres and Gamerz USA of Westland.

The AANM is also a unique site for a child’s birthday party or any family gathering; call 313.624.0225 for facility rental and event planning assistance.
