Both Kotb and Schiffman have been married once before.
In 2005, Kotb married former University of New Orleans tennis coach Burzis Kanga, but the couple divorced just two years later.
Speaking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live over the weekend, she admitted she was glad the secret was now out of the bag.
‘You know, I met him a couple of years ago, he’s the greatest guy ever. I have to say I feel some relief… because you know what it’s like when you know you’re keeping a secret.’
