Lady Gaga Set to Play Dubai Concert
American singer Lady Gaga is reportedly set to play her first concert in the UAE on September 10, according to online speculation ahead of an official press conference due on Monday in Dubai.
“Lady Gaga will bring artRAVE to Dubai on September 10th, 2014! Tickets go on sale May 15th. Official announcement released on May 12,” the twitter account Lady Gaga News stated earlier this month.
Similarly, fan website Gaga Daily stated: “Sources from Dubai are reporting an official announcement of Gaga’s artRAVE in Dubai in September, most likely the 10th, will come within the next couple of weeks.”
On Thursday, an email to UAE journalists stated a press conference would be held in Dubai to announce a “superstar performer who is coming to Dubai in few months”.
“Join us to find out which International Multi-Award Winning Music Icon will perform for the First Time in the UAE, and the Entertainment Powerhouse who is bringing the Fame to town,” the email stated.
The email is seen as a clear confirmation of the online speculation as the 28-year-old’s debut album in 2008 was called The Fame.
