Learn about Arab Culture at St. Clair County Library

Looking to learn more about other cultures? The St. Clair County Library System is hosting a session on Arab Americans and an overview of the Arab World.

Have you ever wondered what it means to be an Arab country? Or the differences between the Arab World and the Middle East? These and many other questions will be answered by a representative from the Arab American National Museum at 6 p.m. Sept. 9 in the Gilbert-Wilcox meeting room at the Port Huron Main Library, 210 McMorran Blvd. Learn more about the diverse culture, history of Arab immigration to the United States and Arab American demographics.

In addition to the guest speaker, a limited-time exhibit will be on display at the library. The exhibit will feature items that are important in Arab-American culture. The items can be viewed during library hours in the meeting room Sept. 5-15.
