New Arab American Meat Market Opens in Dearborn Heights
Dearborn Heights Mayor Dan Paletko and Councilman Ned Apigian joined the owners, family members and friends of the City’s newest market, Berry and Hazimi Meats for a December 17 grand opening/ribbon cutting ceremony.
The new market, located at 27310 Ford Road (just East of Inkster Road) features a wide variety of fresh meats, as well as an assortment of frozen offerings, including fish and chicken.
Owners Dave Berry and Dalal Hazimi are happy to be part of the Dearborn Heights community, and are focused on making their new market one of the area’s best spots for fresh meats. “Quality, price and customer service are our biggest priorities” Berry commented. We come from a long line of butchers, so we know the business. Our family has been in the business successfully since the 1940’s, so we know what customers want. Cleanliness, competitive prices and good customer service are what it’s all about – and that is what we will deliver.”
The market will also provide home delivery service throughout the area. “We know sometimes it is hard for some customers – particularly seniors – to get out and buy groceries, especially during the winter months. All they need to do is call us to place their order, and we’ll make sure it is delivered to them the same day.”
