O'Malley to Meet with Arab Refugees in Dearborn
Democratic presidential contender and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is expected in Dearborn Friday to meet with Arab refugees who recently resettled in Michigan.
The meeting will take place at the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus following the “Refugee Voices: A Shared Discourse of Loss” session of the Arab American Institute’s National Leadership Conference.
The discussion takes place at 2:30 p.m. in the Social Sciences Building, Room 1400, at 4901 Evergreen Road. O’Malley will meet with a small group of refugees who are expected to share their stories of resettlement in the United States.
