The Palestine Political Action Committee Endorses Presidential Candidate Senator Bernie Sanders
The Palestine Political Action Committee (PalestinePAC) announced today that its board of directors voted unanimously to endorse Democratic Presidential Candidate Senator Bernie Sanders.
PalestinePAC cited Mr. Sander’s long history of taking principled positions on issues of peace, including peace in Occupied Palestine, his dedication to the middle class, his refusal to accept money from special interest groups, and his advocacy of a fair and humane foreign policy.
“It’s our view that Mr. Sanders represents the sole sane and principled voice among all the 2016 presidential candidates,” Said Sami Muhawi, President of PalestinePAC. Mr. Muhawi added, “we feel this an historical opportunity for the people of the United States to choose a presidential candidate that truly represents the interests of the American people and not the interest of the mega-donors who buy and corrupt our politicians.”
Mr. Muhawi urged Arab Americans and all citizens who care about our country to register to vote, support, and vote for Bernie Sanders.
