Palestinian Vocalist Dalal Abu Amneh to be Featured Artist at Upcoming Concert in Southern California
Palestinian star singer Dalal Abu Amneh will be the featured artist at an upcoming concert in Southern California – see PalestineFoundation.org. Dalal has gained significant attention and raving reviews by audiences and critics in many appearance outside of her native Nazareth, especially through her wider exposure to the rest of the Arab World via many concerts in Egypt and interviews on several satellite channels. Dalal has taken on the task of propagating the traditional songs of the region, performed in modern style, and has already released an album called Ya Sitti, also the title of the upcoming concert. In the show, a group of women who represent the generation of our grandmothers and carry on the tradition participate with a dynamic vocal contribution.
This event is the first fundraiser for the newly formed Palestine Foundation whose purpose is help give Palestinians the means to build self-sufficient and prosperous communities. It support people empowering themselves and their communities for future generations. The organization keeps the bulk of the initiative, implementation and long-term benefits of its projects in the hands of local communities with independent day-to-day operations for continued growth. Along with these benefits comes the responsibility of full accountability.
The Palestine Foundation was formed in response to our people on the ground and began with Palestinian-American founders with decades of combined experiences working in relevant fields. We uphold the idea that all people are intrinsically good and those who need help can better benefit from tools than handouts.
