Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Completes Mission in Ramallah
On December 10, Dr. Walid Yassir, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon from Detroit, MI completed a week-long mission in the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah in which he continued the PCRF’s Pediatric Orthopedic Educational and Training (POET) program. Dr. Yassir has led several past missions to Palestine for the PCRF in which he provided lectures, workshops and surgical training for many of the residents there as part of our ongoing effort to build up local capacity and services in pediatric orthopedic surgery, which is much needed for the population there.
