The Narcicyst is an Iraqi-Canadian journalist and Hip Hop MC. He’s been featured in Time Magazine, The NY Times, CNN, BBC Radio and Al Jazeera as one of North America’s only Iraqi-Canadian rappers. As an ambassador for conscious Arab Hip-Hop with searing lyrical content and impeccable flow, Narcy is a rising force and celebrated artist on the international music scene. With the recent release of his auto-biographical social study on Hip-Hop and Arab Expression, The Narcicyst will be performing new material from his upcoming Album, and reading from The Diatribes of a Dying Tribe. With visual presentations by multi-media artist Sundus Abdul Hadi, they bring the message through The Medium, their new arts label and culture brand based out of the UAE.
