Super Bowl 50 a family affair for Lebanese-American Ryan Kalil
It’s a family affair in San Francisco as the center for the Carolina Panthers Ryan Kalil’s family soaks in the full Super Bowl experience.
While Ryan Kalil arrived in California Sunday with the team, Natalie Kalil arrived in San Francisco Wednesday with their three children and other family.
“We had a few tears when we couldn’t leave on Sunday with the team, but they’re here and just experience it all,” Natalie Kalil said of her kids.
First, the Kalils went to the aquarium. Then, with the kids dressed in the Super Bowl gear, they hit up the NFL Experience.
“We’re just so excited as a family,” Natalie Kalil said. “Both sides of the family are here. All the kids, cousins, so they are taking it all in.
The family then checked out the zoo. It’s a trip that allows the whole family to have some fun with the kids doing the dab.
The Kalils are taking in every moment that brought this Panther family so far.
“It’s amazing. It’s still so surreal that we’re here,” Natalie Kalil said. “This is what we dream of.”
But how is dad while the family is out exploring?
“He’s great,” Natalie Kalil said. “He’s very excited. The team seems great. They’re just excited to be here and having so much fun.”
But for the Kalils, the fun is just starting as Super Bowl Sunday quickly approaches.
Who’s going to win? “Daddy!”
