(WASHINGTON, D.C., September 29, 2021) The Arab America Foundation is excited to announce its speakers for the CONNECT Arab America: Empowerment due to be held, November 12,13 (the 14 is optional), 2021, at the Doubletree Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan. There are a la carte registrations available in Eventbrite as well.

The historic in-person event features an exciting array of speakers in public service, women’s activism, identity, community advocacy and engagement, and leadership. Moreover, participants will have many networking opportunities and will celebrate Arab heritage through music, entertainment, cuisine, and cultural and informational exhibits.

“We have assembled expert speakers who represent the Arab American identity and culture for this landmark event to be held in Dearborn, the heart of Arab America,” said Warren David, president of Arab America, and co-founder of Arab America Foundation. He went on to say, “it is crucial that Arab Americans come together now more than ever because our unity is our strength.” In addition, Warren David urges everyone to join the National Summit to carry on their duty to promote, educate, connect, and empower Arab Americans throughout the United States!” REGISTER HERE

The Arab America Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational and cultural organization; its mission is to promote the Arab heritage, educate Americans about the Arab identity, and connect and empower Arab Americans, especially the young ones through Rising Leaders’ initiatives.

Join the National Arab Orchestra (NAO) as they perform LIVE at the Ford Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, MI for the first time since the pandemic began. The NAO is an internationally recognized arts organization that preserves and integrates Arab culture through music. The concert will feature the NAO Takht Ensemble as well as some of the country’s most talented artists.  Don’t miss a fantastic evening of great music and celebration that will be sure to make you feel alive with joy!

Rosa Parks’ Bus, Kennedy’s Presidential Limousine, Thomas Edison’s Menlo Park Complex, and the Wright Cycle Shop, are just a few of the attractions.

Visit Detroit and the Motown Museum
Although the interior of the museum is closed due to construction, celebrate the legacy of Motown by enjoying their outdoor space, including snapping your photo on the iconic front steps of Hitsville USA, walking around the new “Still Going On” outdoor exhibit, exploring their retail pop-up shop, and singing along to Motown music in their Dancing in the Street Park.
