Beverly Hills Academy Announces Open House Sunday, March 6th and New Middle and Lower High School Programs
Beverly Hills Academy is pleased to announce the growth of Beverly Hills Academy, with exciting new programs which will begin in the 2011 – 2012 school year. There will also be a special Annual Open House on Sunday, March 6th from 1-3pm.
In September 2011, Beverly Hills Academy will be restructuring their elementary program. The Lower Elementary program will include grades 1 – 3, while our Upper Elementary program will be expanded to include grades 4 – 6.
They will also launch a girl’s college preparatory program which will include Middle School (7th and 8th grade) and Lower High School (9th and 10th grade).
Middle School for Girls (Grades 7 & 8)
Within an all-female environment, young adolescent girls will be challenged and supported both academically and personally. In preparation for the more demanding college preparatory work at the high school level, our rigorous curriculum, combined with opportunities for exploratory experiences, will foster an enthusiasm for learning and encourage students to be creative, independent thinkers.
Lower High School for Girls (Grades 9 & 10)
As they begin to evolve into responsible young adults, adolescent girls will be exposed to new ideas and insights. Advanced instruction will begin to prepare them for the university experience and for future challenges. In the lower high school program, students will develop a deeper understanding of technology, an appreciation for cultural differences, and a respect for others. Their intellectual curiosity and love for learning, inside and outside of the classroom, will continue to be enhanced. Upper High School for Girls (Grades 11 & 12) will open in September 2012.
