3rd Fridays are a unique exhibition of a wide variety local Indianapolis talents. Hosted by Playground Production Studios in Irvington, these events are free to attend and open to all ages (though parents should use discretion as there may be art of mature content). The lobby gallery displays work from three visual artists, and we have space for ten other vendors throughout the building. Painters, sculptors, photographers, fashion designers, woodworkers, metal artists, candle & soap makers, jewelry makers, and artisans of all kinds join us for 3rd Fridays. The evening opens with a community drum circle that is open to everyone of any level of experience. Each month a new musical guest will perform, as well as poets, authors, and comedians throughout the night.
If you are an artist/maker and would like to sell your work at a 3rd Friday event, please start by filling out the application. Once approved, a $25.00 booth fee will reserve your 6×6’ space or hanging gallery space.
This month’s 3rd Fridays at the Playground is recognizing and celebrating Poetry and Arabic Culture month with local artists, vendors, poets, authors, Middle Eastern style music, and belly dancers!
