Gallery Theme: IN THE HEART OF THE WORLD

Presented by Bad Art Club & The Faight in support of Heal Palestine.

The Bad Art Gallery is a group show highlighting our shared humanity and reinforcing our sense of belonging to the world. We’re rebelling against the perfectionist tendencies that keep us playing small so we can show up fully and authentically in service of others. 100% of proceeds will be donated to Heal Palestine.

Join us for this one-of-a-kind gallery show, featuring “bad” art made by members of our local community for the benefit of our global community! We’ll be showing some of the large-scale collective art that’s been made by Bad Art Club over the past year, as well as art submitted by individuals living in the Bay Area.

There are a few ways you may participate in this event…

1. Submit your bad art and be a featured artist in the Bad Art Gallery! Get a free ticket to the show, be a part of something uniquely beautiful. Come celebrate imperfection with us. Read the guidelines here.

2. Come to the show as a bad art enthusiast and bid on some bad art in support of Heal Palestine. Bring your friends and family. This is going to be a night to remember!

Bad Art Club is the movement against perfectionism. We gather weekly to make large-scale collective art using found, donated and recycled materials. The vibe is: Unhinged expression met with radical positive regard. The rules are: Be yourself and Do your worst.

The Faight Collective is a community hub, event space and music venue that’s amplifying artists, musicians, and creatives in the Lower Haight of San Francisco. There’s accessible and inclusive programming (yoga, workshops, creative lounge) most days of the week, and amazing events on weekends.

Heal Palestine is a nonpolitical, nonreligious U.S.-registered nonprofit providing urgent and long-term aid to Palestinian children and families. They have evacuated 50 children from Gaza to receive life-saving surgeries, prosthetics, and rehabilitative care in the U.S. Three of those children — Layan (14), Ghazal (6), and Anas (8) — are here in San Francisco now.
