Our gift to Houston from Archaeology Now, the Arab American Educational Foundation, and the Iraqi American community! Join us to celebrate 5,000 years of history from the Marshes of Iraq to the marshes of the Gulf Coast of America as we formally open the Mudhif.
Tour an inspiring structure built by hand containing no wood or nails but only reed from the Marshes of Iraq, assembled by master builders and shipped to Houston. Feast on traditional food, create art with your family, and join in song and dance.
