Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana Welcome Baby Eissa

Janet Jackson and her husband, Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana, have welcomed their first child together. Jackson’s representative confirmed on Tuesday that the pop star gave birth to a baby boy and named him Eissa, the Arabic name for Jesus.
Janet and Wissam confirmed in May that they were expecting a child after the singer postponed her Unbreakable World Tour to start a family. Jackson, who is 50, debuted her baby bump in September to show her excitement for the new child, but has kept her pregnancy and marriage very private. She was only photographed once in public hasn’t been active social media during the pregnancy.
Last month, she broke her silence with a post telling fans, “I feel your love and prayers… Thank you… and I’m doing well… Al Hamdu lillah.”
Since marrying Al Mana in 2012, Janet Jackson has embraced the Arab culture and language. The Qatari real estate mogul is Jackson’s third husband and Eissa is the first child for both Janet and Wissam.
