Join us in commemorating the centenary of Gibran Kahlil Gibran’s masterpiece, ‘The Prophet,’ originally published on September 23, 1923, and for an exciting update on our upcoming National Summit.
We are honored to host May Rihani, a renowned author, poet, and former director of the Gibran Chair at the University of Maryland. She will eloquently emphasize the significance of ‘The Prophet,’ a literary work translated into over 100 languages, earning its place as one of the most widely translated books in history and one of the best-selling books of all time.
Additionally, Zeina Azzam, a Palestinian-American poet, writer, editor, and community activist, currently the Poet Laureate of the City of Alexandria, Virginia will read select passages from The Prophet.
Finally, we are excited to share a thrilling update about our upcoming Connect Arab America: Empowerment Summit in Orlando, scheduled for November 3-4 in Orlando, Florida.
