Showcasing Falesteen’s art, culture, history and the resilience of its artisans and farmers in the 1st annual Story of My Homeland Festival.

Hikayet Watani (The Story of My Homeland) is a family-friendly event celebrating the heritage and the history of the Palestinian homeland through art, culture and history. Activities include keynote speakers, story time and Thobe parade. The Palestinian thobes or dresses, represent a very historic and important piece of identity in Palestinian women’s livelihood. Each city and village in Palestine has their own unique art style based on geographical location and economic situation.
