Flow through calming breathing and yoga poses while supporting humanitarian relief efforts for communities in Lebanon.
As the moon disappears from the night sky, you’re invited to soften, slow down, and return inward. Beneath the open sky, this outdoor practice offers space to reconnect with yourself while honoring our connection to one another and the wider world.
The new moon marks a natural pause, it offers a time for reflection, release, and renewal. Together, we’ll move through a gentle, trauma-informed practice designed to calm the nervous system, create space for contemplation, and cultivate a sense of grounded hope.
As someone who lived in Lebanon and continues to hold deep connections there, I am offering this workshop as a fundraiser to support humanitarian relief efforts. In a world that often asks us to stay constantly engaged, this evening invites us to step away from the noise without turning away, to restore ourselves so we can return with greater clarity, compassion, and care.
This all-levels practice includes:
🌙 A slow-flowing Chandra Namaskara (Moon Salutation) sequence
🌑 Guided pranayama to regulate and settle the nervous system
🛏️ Yoga nidra (yogic sleep) for deep relaxation and restoration
🖊️ Quiet space for journaling, reflection, and intention setting
🤍 Community gathering in support of Lebanon
Whether you’re new to yoga or returning to your mat, this is a space to breathe deeply and return to your body.
What to bring:
• Comfortable clothes you can move in
• Yoga mat, towel, or blanket
• Journal and pen/pencil• Layers for warmth as the sun sets
• Water bottle
Suggested donation: $30
All proceeds will be donated to humanitarian relief efforts supporting communities in Lebanon. No one will be turned away for lack of ability to pay. Everyone is still welcome to join in the spirit of gathering to support communities in Lebanon.
Rain date: Tuesday, July 21st at 6:30pm
