Mahmoud Khalil’s recent visit to Washington, D.C. represents a great moment and has strengthened the connection between Arab American leaders and U.S. politicians. As a widely respected voice in the Arab American community, his role in D.C. shows how important it is to push for engagement and awareness on issues that affect Arab Americans in the U.S. and overseas.
