The Arabian Gulf League Kicked off on Friday with four matches. In the two early matches Al Wahda demolished Hatta by a score 6-0, and Al Dhafra dominated Ajman 4-1.

Jordanian midfielder Yaseen Al-Bakhit converted two goals on penalty kicks, the first coming in the 6th minute and the second coming in the 30th to give Al Dhafra the 2-0 first-half lead.

Midfielder Suhail Al-Mansoori scored just before the end of the first half to put Al Dhafra up 3-0.

In the second half, Al-Mansoori would strike again, scoring his second goal of the match in the 62nd minute to put Al Dhafra up 4-0

Ajman was able to get a goal back in stoppage time with a goal from Hussain Abdulrahman, but it was too little too late as Al Dhafra went on to win the match 4-1.

Later on Friday, Bani Yas will take on Al Wasl in Dubai, while defending champions Sharjah will face Fujairah.

The action continues on Saturday, with last season’s runner up Shabab Al Ahli travelling to Kalba, and Al Ain hosting Khor Fakkan in two early matches. Al Nasr will take on Al Jazira in a late night clash at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai.
