On Saturday, April 29, 2023, Self-Help Information Network and Exchange (S.H.I.N.E.), a non-profit youth organization with a mission to put moral and life skill values into practice through social, financial, and health-related programs that educate and empower youth ages 5-18, will be hosting the first annual NC Muslim Festival in Center City Park – Downtown Greensboro, NC from 10 AM – 6 PM.
The purpose of this event is to promote diversity. We aim to do so by helping to build bridges with community members and offer an opportunity for civic pride, as well as education. Muslims are our medical professionals, educators, political-civic leaders, and financial advisors, as well as our neighbors so come support the cause and meet your Muslim neighbor! There will be a variety of delicious halal food, shop at Madinah Marketplace with over 40+ merchandise vendors, children’s games, and entertainment showcased at this festival. This event is open to the public (Muslims & non-Muslims are welcome) and FREE to attend; no tickets allowed.
